Simpson will be on hand at the EAA Airventure Oshkosh Fly-in Show July 23-29, to exhibit our 5, 6 and 7-point aviation harnesses for general aviation planes, experimental planes, acrobatic planes and historical/military restoration planes.
We will display our most popular configurations and our aviation team will be on hand to discuss our standard offerings and fully customized harnesses that can be stylized to the owner’s specifications. Simpson aviation harnesses are made in the USA, at our manufacturing facility in Mooresville, North Carolina, giving us excellent control over lead times and customer service. All of our restraints and harnesses are backed by Simpson’s 60 years of experience and research in motorsports safety and feature the highest quality construction and hardware.
Trevor Ashline, Vice President of Product Development and lead restraint engineer for Simpson stated, “Studies of serious accidents have shown that the proper use of shoulder harnesses, in addition to the safety belt, significantly reduces major aviation injuries in private planes. Our racing heritage gives us a unique ability to lead the aircraft community to better outcomes in survivable crashes. We want to educate and provide quality products to this important aviation sector. We invite attendees and members of the media to stop in and see what Simpson harnesses are all about.”
