Original Tuskegee Airmen to Present Awards to Central Florida Aerospace Academy Students at SUN ‘n FUN
The Commemorative Air Force Red Tail Squadron invites the media to learn more and interview living legends in person

WHAT: Four students from the Polk County School District’s Central Florida Aerospace Academy (CFAA) will receive an award from the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Red Tail Squadron. They were selected because of an outstanding presentation on the Tuskegee Airmen that has earned them a spot representing the CFAA at a state history fair. These students have exhibited the Six Principles of the CAF Red Tail Squadron - Aim High, Believe In Yourself, Use Your Brain, Be Ready To Go, Never Quit and Expect To Win.

Scheduled to present the awards are:
Col Charles McGee, original Tuskegee Airman pilot
Lt Col George Hardy, original Tuskegee Airman pilot
Captain James Ray, WWII B-17 bomber pilot
John Leenhouts, President and CEO of SUN ‘n FUN

The students receiving the award are all residents of Lakeland.
