Pilot Mission, LLC has announced the launch of its new service, PlaneLogiX. PlaneLogiX is a service which allows owners and operators to back up their maintenance logbooks to avoid the devastating aftermath of Aircraft logbook loss. Services range from simple scans to full logbook transcriptions with aircraft and component time reconciliation. The service will utilize an iPad app and web portal designed around aircraft maintenance management with powerful analytical tools and push alerts.
PlaneLogix's mission is to provide a comprehensive aircraft maintenance service for owners or maintenance personnel to digitally manage aircraft maintenance and the backup of aircraft logbooks. Creating transparency within the industry is also important to them. Rob Wilkes, Co-Founder, stated, “We want the whole aircraft ownership process to be as seamless as possible and we want to make things more transparent for everyone.”
“The loss of an aircraft’s maintenance logbooks can decrease the value of the aircraft by as much as 50%” said William Hecksteden, Co-Founder. “We are creating an intuitive platform that provides a more detailed view of the aircrafts health. This will decrease a mechanics workload while also making general aircraft management more enjoyable.” Besides logbook transcription and digitization, the PlaneLogiX app will give an owner or operator an inside look at the aircrafts health. “Everything from engine test compression results, oil analysis results, installed parts and equipment lists and a searchable AD/SB list are all available.”
After a successful run with their Beta program, Pilot Mission is ready to start accepting more customers as they unveil their latest creation. “We are focusing on providing a top tier logbook backup service at bottom tier prices,” said William Goldstein, Co-Founder. “With the Beta program behind us, we are confident we can do just that without compromising quality.”
