Liberty Announces First US Dealer
Melbourne, Florida USA: Liberty Aerospace, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of our first United States dealership – FIRST FLIGHT AVIATION, LLC (“First Flight”) – located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. First Flight has taken delivery of their first two aircraft and will add another two aircraft to their inventory before the end of the year.
Mr. Bill White, Managing Member of the First Flight ownership group stated “It’s exciting to open the first U.S. dealership for Liberty Aerospace. We are dedicated to providing the GA buyer with quality aircraft backed by quality service. Our new facilities illustrate the depth of our commitment to this endeavor.” Bill is best known for the string of automobile dealerships he owns in Ft. Smith and surrounding Arkansas cities.
Mr. Jack Younger, General Manager of First Flight stated “The XL2 fills a void in the two-seat GA market for both an excellent touring aircraft and an IFR certified trainer as well. Our central U.S. location will enable us to reach a great audience with this airplane.” Jack began his aviation career in 1989, including a term as the Assistant Airport Manager for the Robert S. Kerr airport, in Poteau, OK. He is a Commercial/Instrument Pilot, CFII and Advanced Instrument Ground Instructor along with being an A&P mechanic.
Mr. R.W. Burnley, Sr. VP for Sales & Marketing at Liberty noted, “Bill White’s approach to selling and supporting GA aircraft is a direct reflection of his mindset with his automobile dealerships - the best product at the best price backed by honest service, and a commitment to turning a customer into a client.”
First Flight, located at the Ft. Smith Regional Airport, has a newly remodeled hangar / showroom for presenting their aircraft inventory in a bright and climate controlled environment. With virtual year-round flying weather, it is a must-see destination for anyone in the Central U.S. who is considering a Liberty XL2.
Based in Florida’s Space Coast, Liberty Aerospace, Inc. designs and manufactures general aviation aircraft and is the FAA Type 23 Certificate holder for the Liberty XL2. The XL2 aircraft is IFR certified and meets the specific requirements of flying schools and clubs while offering the private owner/operator a first-class touring aircraft. Well-known for its carbon fiber fuselage and modular construction, it is the only production aircraft powered by a piston engine equipped with a full authority digital engine control (FADEC), simplifying power management and providing greatly increased levels of safety, reliability and maintainability. These technological advances have allowed Liberty to deliver an aircraft benefiting from incredibly low operating costs, while remaining extremely fun to fly.
