Lancair Moving to Larger Facilities
Strong Demand for Aircraft Prompts Need for Space
Lancair is pleased to announce the moving of the company Headquarters to new facilities near the Redmond Airport. At 38,000 square feet, the fifty percent larger building allows for continued growth.
Demand for the Evolution, the company’s latest pressurized 330 knot turboprop, remains strong with lead-times out to 5 months. The new facility will allow the company to ramp production of the Evolution kit and execute on new projects like the recently announced Colombian program.
Lancair CEO Joe Bartels stated” We’re extremely excited about the market acceptance of the Evolution, this move will give us the capacity we need to continue to grow the company.” The facilities centralized location will provide a more efficient production process.
Additionally, the building’s large open bay creates a very pleasant work atmosphere for our employees and customers.
The company will commence the move in February and will be completed by April 1, 2009.
