Scheyden Precision Eyewear to Unveil Newest Products at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Show, Hangar B / Booth #2019
(HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA) – Scheyden Precision Eyewear – the luxury market leader in lenses and frames for the aviation industry – announces it will debut the company’s Albatross and Mustang models at the 2011 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Show, Hangar B / Booth #2019, July 25-31 at the Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Co-designed by company founder Jeff Herold and renowned eyewear industry veteran Patrick Hussey, the Albatross and Mustang styles ($299 to $329) provide the ultimate in optical clarity and comfort. Albatross’ aviator-like frames are ideal for nearly every face type, while the navigator-style Mustang better suits a medium to larger fit.
Constructed with the finest materials, Albatross and Mustang feature an ultra-lightweight titanium frame front and temples for complete comfort, even when wearing a hat, headphones or a headset. Strategically-placed acetate serves a two-fold purpose with its attractive look and elimination of incoming side light. Introduced in an aviation-specific non-polarized, CR-39 lens, models can be purchased at the show and attendees may pre-order mineral glass lens styles including polarization, scheduled for an early Fall delivery.
“Our new Albatross and Mustang models are absolutely gorgeous and the fact that they fit almost every face will undoubtedly make them the hit of the show, along with our flip-ups and composite hybrids,” says Herold. “We encourage the thousands of attendees to experience the difference between Scheyden and standard eyewear and learn why Scheyden is the longtime supplier of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the top choice of military, commercial, private and aerobatic pilots worldwide.”
Ideal for flying, Scheyden’s diverse product range offers supreme functionality and superb sun protection. The brand’s Classic FlipUps allow pilots to effortlessly adapt to changing light conditions. The frames feature superior strength and heat resistant properties, helping them retain their shape far more than competitors’ models. Additional models include the Composite Hybrid collection, Fixed Gear designs and Dual RX styles.
Hand-ground and polished, Scheyden’s lenses feature a hydrophobic coating to repel water and perspiration, several layers of magnesium hexafluoride to diffuse ambient light and protect pupils from harsh reflections and a scratch resistant top coat.
Designed and manufactured to exacting standards, Scheyden Precision Eyewear is available at better commercial aviation and custom eyewear retailers nationwide.
