Kilfrost Celebrates First Anniversary in Americas
The global leaders in the manufacturing of de-icing/anti-icing and ice protection fluids are celebrating the first birthday of their dedicated US team with the announcement of several senior level appointments and the opening of a new office facility.
Kilfrost has supplied the aviation, rail and transportation sectors across the world since the 1930s and while it has always had a presence in the Americas, the last year has seen the company invest heavily for future growth. "The Americas market is extremely important to us" explained Gary Lydiate, Chief Executive of Kilfrost. "While we are the global leaders, we recognize that there is significant opportunity to increase our market share across North and South America, and Canada, and we've worked hard to find the right people and put the best infrastructure in place to support this aim."
Led by Patrick Strasburger, Kilfrost's Senior Vice President of the Americas, who has over 25 years senior-level industry experience, the team has been strengthened with key appointments including David Schueler as Commercial Vice President for the Americas; Frank Galasso as Vice President Operations; Francesca McFeely as Marketing Analyst; Jason Carter as Sales Manager; Rob Fountain as Manager of Customer Support; Luis Guerrero as Manager of Accounting; and Deborah Friedman as TKS Customer Support.
"We have an extremely strong, professional and experienced team who are as eager as I am to raise awareness of Kilfrost's innovative products and ultimately secure more market share†explained Patrick Strasburger. "We are celebrating not only the first anniversary of our in-house dedicated Americas team, but also the official opening of our new commercial office facility" he explained.
Kilfrost has also partnered with Du Pont Tate & Lyle to develop its Sustain family of products, the first ever de-icing/anti-icing fluids using glycol from a sustainable source. "We're rightly proud of our green credentials and our reputation for cutting-edge excellence and I'm looking forward to introducing more customers to the Kilfrost portfolio across the coming winter season" concluded Patrick Strasburger.
For over 75 years Kilfrost has led the global de-icing/anti-icing sector and is proud to work closely with customers in over 50 countries and five continents. With facilities in the UK, Europe, North America and Japan, Kilfrost is able to deliver its safety critical products to the Commercial Aviation, General Aviation, Rail, Functional Fluids and Ground De-icing sectors.
